Precautions before starting

Before starting, it is advisable to clean and disinfect the work surface and the utensils: the prepared products will go on the skin, it is therefore necessary to avoid any microbial contamination!

Thoroughly clean the BeautyMix. Then, soak a clean cloth in 70° alcohol (available in supermarkets) and use it to disinfect the BeautyMix tank and all the utensils. Let dry.

Clean the work surface and remove objects that could get in the way.

Place a clean paper towel on the work surface, and place the utensils on it. Have available: a clean teaspoon or spatula, and a clean, dry container for pouring the preparation once ready. Wash hands thoroughly.

Respect the dosages indicated for the ingredients of the recipe.

Preparation
1
Thoroughly disinfect the work surface and the BeautyMix with 70° alcohol and clean paper.
2
Place the flat mixer in the BeautyMix bowl, and place the bowl on the scale. Perform the tare (zero) by pressing the T key. You can put your container (stick, jar or mould) in the fridge or freezer upstream, which will allow the balm to set immediately in the container when you pour it.
3
Weigh the required amount of cocoa butter.
7.5 g
4
Press T to reset the scale to 0, then add the required amount of Emulsifying Wax (formerly Emulsifier Detangling Care)
3.0 g
5
Press T to reset the scale to 0, then add the required amount of vegetable oil.
4.5 g
6
Place the tank on the BeautyMix, and press the button 3 times to start the red program. If all the ingredients are not completely melted at the end of mixing, restart the red programme.
7
During this time, take the lip balm applicator, remove the cap and make sure to lower the part that allows the lip balm to rise once it has cooled down to the bottom.
8
At the end of the program, transfer the mixture while it is still hot into the lip balm applicator or into a silicone jar or mould, and place it in the refrigerator to let it harden for at least 30 minutes. In a notebook, write the name of the recipe, the ingredients, date of manufacture, expiry date and capacity
9
Clean the BeautyMix tank while it is still hot, rubbing well with a sponge or cloth to remove traces of wax. The bowl can also be put in the dishwasher.
And There you go !
